2013 Schedule for 4-H Club Days

The 2013 Ford County 4-H Club Days will be held at the Dodge City Middle School on Saturday, February 2nd. Friends, family and the public are invited to attend!

Objectives of 4-H Club Day

1. To demonstrate the values of the 4-H Youth Program through public presentation and evaluation of:
1. Demonstrations
2. Talks
3. Meeting Procedures
4. Recreation
2.  To provide additional opportunity for 4-H'ers to participate in music and drama, and to share their talents
3. To provide opportunity for fellowship and wider acquaintance among 4-H'ers 
4. To exchange information regarding hobbies, interests, good homemaking, agriculture, and family living skills to others. 
5. To present a favorable image to the public and promote 4-H. 

Along with all of the 4-H Club Day activities, there will be a Consumer Science Judging Contest! Challenge your decision making skills by judging the classes! Some classes present a certain situation and then four answers are given to solve the problem presented. It is your job to rank the answers in the order you think solves it, from the best answer to the worst. Other classes include mating answers, true or false questions and identification. The contest will be set-up from 8:00am - 10:00am in the hallway next to the Library.
